St Ives Museum is located close to Smeaton’s Pier in the harbour. The building was previously a pilchard curing cellar, then later a chapel, laundry and cinema.
The Museum was opened in 1968 and contains a wide and varied collection of exhibits.
Collections include information and artefacts relating to boats, lifeboats, shipwrecks and lighthouses.
